Looks more like a leafhopper (suborder Homoptera) bearing waxy filaments to me. I'm not going to try to get more specific than that as I don't have much knowledge regarding foreign (for me at least) insects.

Dear leo83, Sorry, if I have a tiny knowledge about butterflies, about other insecta orders I know almost nothing. All I could say, it's about your third picture : the insect looks very much like Xylocopa latipes DRURY, 1773 which was very common in the Kinabatangan Valley this last August in Sabah (Borneo).
