Dear Thanos,
"from Ecuador" ! Yes, I know it's not from Greece or China ! From where in Ecuador ? At which elevation ?
All the best !

Dear Jean-Marc, The ssp.rosenbergi occurs in W.Ecuador (and SW Colombia). The site swallowtails.net gives a locality in W.Ecuador : Rio Mira Paraniba, where both colour forms(orange and yellow) have been cought at 3200-3500 feet altitude, as mentioned there. Also I have info that it occurs in Rio Durango,Esmeraldas,Ecuador. Here you can see where it's located on the map : travelingluck.com/South%20America/Ecuador/Esmeraldas/_3828039_R%C3%ADo%20Durango.html#local_mapI don't have it in my collection yet so to have any further specific collecting data. Best, Thanos

John,
Congratulations, not so much for the great specimen (you have a collection full of those!) but the fantastic photo. I see you've found out how to take good photos of butterflies, thanks for sharing.
Adam.

Very nice John. The quality is fantastic. Recently I saw a couple of females for sale, but the price was crazzy!
