This species was mentioned in another forum and I have not heard of it before. Is it actually a new Urania? Anyone with a photo? Much appreciated.

Urania poeyi (HERRICH-SCHÄFFER, 1866 (Correspbl. Zool.-Min. Vereinigung, Regensburg, 20, p. 135) and not Lees & Smith, 1991) is regarded most often as ssp. of Urania fulgens from Cuba. The illustration is copied from Seitz, Vol. 6, Plate 138. Manfred Attachments:
