Subject: FOR SALE: GRAELLSIA ISABELLAE COCOONS 11/19/2011
Dear Sirs,
I wish to draw your attention to the advertisement as stated in the subject of this email.
Around 18 months ago, Mr. Festa contacted me directly with the same offer for isabellae cocoons. I asked him to inform me at the point that the cocoons came into his possesion, so that I could make payment. He did this and I handed over several hundred pounds for the cocoons.
What followed was a string of excuses about how he had been the victim of a fraud, and that he couldn't supply me with any material. I said that this was not a problem, and that he could simply refund me. He agreed to do this, but then problems occurred with this too. After several months of excuses about PayPal, I gave up, told him he was a fraudster and left it at that.
It was with much interest that I saw his most recent advert, and I quickly emailed him to ask for my cocoons. He told me that he was prepared to supply them, but that 'he would let me know' when they were ready to ship. Surely, if he has the cocoons, like he says he has, he can ship them immediately?
I have heard nothing again for over a week. It may transpire that I am totally wrong about this character, and that he is a very unlucky person and he is doing his best to supply me with my order nearly two years later, but I would not be surprised if you did not start to hear complaints about him soon.
I feel that I need to warn the community about this person, because, in my view, he does not seem totally reliable.
Yours faithfully,
Ian Surman
