Well come dainsects, Where are you from? I use 75% alcohol in a plastic bottle to kill them in and I normally packaged them with cardboard, toilet paper, cellophane, staples and dry them in room temperature. I will make sure all the tarsus is visable, so any one can see the specimen if it's prefect or damaged. I write data at the back of the cardboard like location, provence/state, country, date, month and year. Attachments:

Thanks Lucanidae25 for your assistance and the information given. I will consider applying your method to prepare beetles. I am from the Solomon Islands by the way...
Apart from the method suggested by lucanidae25, are there other ways to kill and prepare a beetle? A friend here suggests that you can place them in a plastic bag and put them in the fridge for 1 to 2 hrs... Has anyone tried this method and finds it effective and does not affect the quality of the beetles?

If the beetles are big, you can put it in a plastic bag and then in the freezer part of the fridge for 1/2 half an hour to an hour or you can use a syringe with 75% alcohol and inject it in between the pronotum and elytron.
