Looks like a type of assasin bug, from the order Hemiptera (true bugs). Known to bite so be carefull.

It's Leptoglossus clypealis Haldeman. Hemiptera; family Coreidae. If you live in the Eastern U.S. It fits my specimens in my collection. These don't bite, so you can pick them up and let them outside. Jeff Prill

Thank you so much for the response. He is actually on the outside of my window, he's been there for about three days now. (walking from one side of the screen to the other from time to time) Is this strange behavior for this kind of bug? Maybe he's attracted to the warmth. He's a very pretty bug, the legs are amazing, they really do look like leaves, they are even see through at some points, the way a dead leaf would be. What excellent mimicry.

Hello,
For me it is Leptoglossus occidentalis (Western Conifer Seed Bug).
Cheers,
