These 16th or 17th drawings might also be German instead of Dutch. They have other insects, not sure if this is the right forum. With many thanks for all your help! Attachments:

Top-left corner : An Elateridae beetle,with opened wings. Top-right corner: A Carabus beetle. Bottom-left corner : A Curculionidae (the artist forgot here to paint the front pair of legs ). Bottom-center : Possibly here he/she was trying to paint a Melolontha beetle (Scarabaeidae). Bottom-right : A male Oryctes nasicornis (Dynastinae) from Europe. Thanos
