The question arose out of a small discussion on Lepidoptera sizes, Thysania agrippina always was the largest Noctuidae in the world, but now with the new nomenclature it is the largest Erebidae and as I mainly collect Noctuidae sensu stricto (in the old nomenclature Noctuinae and Hadeninae subfamilies) I wondered now which Noctuidae sp. is the largest? Maybe someone of the community can enlighten me and the others in this question.
