Nice catch! Bill Patterson has a short series of these from Ventura county a few years ago. Always was meaning to go look for it.

I collected a couple S. jaguarina in AZ last summer. I don't think they are quite as rare in AZ as in CA though, but they still aren't common. It's a nice little moth though.
