Hi ! Did anybody know Aldo Setiawan? Many times, he posted some interessting butterflies in insectnet and firt I had have a good mailcontact to him. I send him a small amount of money for the first time to test, if he is honerst for the shippment. He wrote me, he will send the parcel in the next days... now... weeks are gone and I don´t have any informations about the parcel or anything. He also don´t contact me... So did anybody know him? Is he honerst?

Hi to everybody! Now it seems that I lost my ordered butterflies from Aldo, because he never responsed, even if he posted some other items in insectnet. So please (for yourselves!!) DON´T buy anything from Mr. Aldo Setiawan!!!! You will definetly lost your time and your money with this guy. I have also heared from other persons, who have also contact to him that he will have several names, offering butterflies here in insectnet. So please be VERY VERY carefull and don´t pay anything without having your material!!! These are the guys, who play with the honersty of our society...  |

I told him well,sent me your insect and after received and controll i'll made payment!

The first tip when buying Ornithoptera from a non established seller is to ask for the Cites permit copy to be sent to you. The second clue is that it takes a few weeks for any Indonesian to obtain his Cites permit for the export of Ornithoptera. If you are having Ornithoptera sent to you without a permit you are asking for serious trouble from your customs and wildlife enforcement divisions.
Don't you know you cannot move Ornithoptera around across international borders without Cites documents. I think count your lucky blessings you only got ripped off for that small amount. The fines wojld be very huge if they caught you with them without documents.
