This is a picture of a Chrysochroa buqueti I got a few years ago. I noticed the "extra" blue on one side of it's pronotum, and decided to find out what it is, whether its an abberation or it just emerged wrong I can't tell. Also, it would be nice to know if whatever it is is common or not. Hopefully someone can help me with this. -Mantisboy Attachments:

So just out of curiosity, would an abberant like this be worth any more than a "normal" one, or since it is a common species would it not be worth much?

Its a pretty minor variant/aberration , I don`t think a serious collector would pay much more for it , collectors are looking for things really different and out of the norm .
