Second one is from Colombia. I just won these on ebay and don't actually have them in my possession yet. I just hope to get an id before they arrive : ) Thank you fro any help!

Zak, The specimen from Brazil is likley a Dirphia species, closest to dolosa, but wing shape if off. Perhaps in the photo there is some sagging of the wings, causing them to appear different than if they were completely flat. I do not think the other specimen is a Saturniidae species. Bill Oehlke

Thanks for the info on both posts, Bill. I didn't think the one from Colombia was a Saturniid either, hence the question mark after the "Saturniidae" in the post title : ) Thanks again!

I agree with Bill. The second specimen is definitely a female Lasiocampid, I think in the genus Quadrina (or a very closely related genus).
