This person from France won some specimens from me on eBay and didn't pay for them (to let you know that I write it clearly in the description of my items that payment should be made within 3 days, unless otherwise the buyer messages me to request a delay). This man didn't pay or send a message even when I opened an unpaid item case on eBay. So today I closed the case (10 days already passed since he won the specimens), received my final value fees back, and blocked him from my future auctions. Despite the fact I white it clearly in the description of my items that I don't want unserious buyers and that they shouldn't bid if they don't intend to pay, still there are some not responsible and unserious persons that cause problems and don't respect the other.
His adress:
Jean Philippe Lab 60 rue de wattignies Paris, Ile-de-France 75012 France
eBay ID: 'secotine37'.

Don't know him. But he may be ill, he may be in holiday with no access to internet it is only 10 days. How are his ebay feedbacks ?
I would not draw such conclusions so fast thanos. Of course, you can cancel the sales if you want, but I am not sure I would have posted this thread before having reached him or at least wait one month, as written in InsectNet Trading Report rules.

Oh, really ? Then how is it possible for him to accept feedback from sellers like 'very fast payment' for items that he bought even after my items ..? (I watched his transactions from his feedback before posting here). I'm sure for what I wrote. Still nothing from him.

However a seller words his listings and whatever his/her own 'rules', the general eBay conditions are "allow 10 days to complete the sale"
Jean Philippe is a respected eBay member with 100% feedback and 600 transactions... To denigrate him on this forum because of a ridiculous personal 3-day payment wording, is both rude and unprofessional.
Shame on you, thanos-2008, you are relentless...

So has this person paid yet? While I certainly respect the commanding knowledge which Thanos has regarding insects, I'll comment on the curmudgeonly (or is it cantankerous?) manner with which he communicates. I know it is unlikely to be a Greek thing as I live and work with alot of Greek people. There could however be a language hurdle where Thanos does not mean the negative connotations of his words. I'll know more when I read the next replies.

No, still absolutely no message or payment from him. It is clear that this person changes his mind about some of the purchases he makes on eBay, and then totally disrespects the seller. Oh, and yes, I am proud to be Greek , but also am 'hard' with the ones that don't respect the other and are not correct. On the other hand, I'm more than correct and generous with the correct persons. I always pay very fastly for my purchases and respect myself and the others (the correct ones, too) and I wish everyone could do the same.

(ps: downundermoths,- I have told it to you again, -I'm totally untouched from whatever you say, as I tell the truth as it is, and clearly dislike persons of your quality and maturity. stringer1, the same for you (I saw on your listings that you have set the automatic unpaid item support to open case on the 5th day from the listings' end). By the way, this sentence of you, downundermoths : the general eBay conditions are "allow 10 days to complete the sale", is a nonsense and you seem not to know well eBay's rules, as it gives the seller the choice to open unpaid item case as soon as just 4 days after the end of the listing).

Ok - I can certainly respect that. However, if I missed the part where it reads to pay within 3 days, I might have to be reminded. I wouldn't have missed it as I do read all of the listings prior to bidding very carefully. Have you sent a request for payment? You should not have to do so and you are right that it is rude to have to sit out there wondering what the heck the buyer is thinking.
Thanos, I think some might enjoy poking at you with a stick just to see what you write. I might have been guilty of it once myself so I apologize for having done so if I did.
