Colin, Please always try to send wingspans (forewing tip to forewing tip when moths are spread with forewing inner margin (lower wing edge perpendicular to line of body) as in your specimen of the moths you submit for identification purposes. Sometimes that can help with immediate identification or can reduce possibilities. In other cases, that information could prove useful in the future if consistant differences in sizes are found in look-alike species.
