So I caught this fly and I notice it sticks it's wings STRAIGHT up and together. It looks like a regular house fly. Is this a defense thig to make it look bigger? Also would like to know exactly what kind of fly it is as I tried a web search and came up with nothing. Thanks!
Also I can post a pic if it helps but its not that great

Probably a Mayfly (order Ephemeroptera).
