I have seen palinurus flying. I think it is the most beautiful butterfkly I have seen flying. Far more impressive than blumei, ulysses, priamus...
It launches green and blue flashes when he flies. It is wonderful !

I have collected P. daedalus in the Philippines and it really is a beautiful butterfly on the wing. Your heart stops as you set up to swing the net while the butterfly is feeding at flowering vines.

Here is the picture: I cannot read the labels but I think nymphodorus are those 2 under the buddha.

Yes, indeed Panzerman always posted top shelf "quality" specimens as well as Jaume ! I miss them both because their material was just stunning at every turn....
