My little ones have hatched! ;D My Eacles imperialis eggs are hatching now. A few hatched this morning and I just saw another climbing out of the egg. This is my first time raising any lepidoptera and I am quite excited. This was supposed to be my second batch, but the foodplant for the Callosamia angulifera was too far away and I was caught off guard and unprepared when they hatched. I am still kicking myself for that one. Sorry for the low quality image, these guys are just too tiny for my cheap camera without an external magnifier. Attachments:

Looks pretty good to me. I raised some of these a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, the female was caught the last week of September. I was still feeding larvae into mid December! Out of about 50 eggs, about 12 or 13 pupated, & only two eclosed (in January!). Be sure to post pics as these grow.
