Hi I am off to Austria in a weeks time and would like to collect some butterflies in the Soll/kitzbuhel area, is this allowed.

you need a permit in Tirol(Kitzbühel),there are no permits for "all over" Austria.
Have checked in the net and found only little about this,but in Tyrol it should be possible to get permits for research only(more difficult in other parts of Austria)
