Hello all,
I really enjoyed reading Tom's article on raising D. Tityus. Awesome detailed report.
I am interested in raising Dynastes as well and I was wondering if there is anyone who has raised them on a substrate that you can get from a local garden center, etc. I live in Los Angeles and rotting trees are not available to me.
I have read that you can take mulch and compost it for a 2 month period but I was hoping there are easier alternatives.
Anyone in the Los Angeles county area raise beetles and if so, what do you use for a substrate?
