Does anyone recognize this bug? It's very tiny, about a tenth of an inch. I've never seen one like it. I'm not sure if geography helps but I'm in New York & not too far from the ocean. Though this doesn't look like it's from the water.  |

That is a lace wing larva. He eats bad bugs so he is good for the garden.

Thanks! I have a thing against killing bugs, but then I couldn't figure out where it went. I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to poison me as I worked :-P
