Geographical location is helpful when trying to determine species. In your ID request, don't forget to post the geographical location where your insect was found. Nearest city, state, and country at minimum!

Thank you, Clark. As insects by number make up about 80% of our planets population, it helps when asking the equivalent in a crowded stadium; "I'm looking for Bob".
And if you don't have a pic give a general body type "like"...
Mantid/sticks Fly Bee/wasp/hornet Beetle Dragonfly/damselfly Ant/termite Spider/scorpion (should be an easy one) Hoppers/crickets weevils Butterfly/moth
etc...
