Does anyone know what this is? Obviously a Satyrid but I haven't able to find anything like it. Anyone have any ideas as to what genus/species? Appreciate any and all help and input. Was taken from 9Gag and misidentified as a moth. Link: hereThanks!

incredible brilliant idea it seems an artist composition by special effect (the artist, Marko Popadic, seems specialised in rigging). The realism in the details is very high despite not perfect (i.e. in shadow of the antennas). does this Satyrinae really exist ? (I never seen something like that)

I concur, Photoshopia fakeyououtis; Please note the absence of a hindwing which should (if my recolection of butterfly morphology serves me correctly) be visible. Great idea for a photograph though.

it seems more the forewing absent. You are right, there are some more details It is not so obvious as it can be cancelled by hindwing. here it has to be in the shadow part then not so strange. (may be he took a paprered specimen as sample)
