Can you believe that someone actually stole the scorpion frame from me? In the years I've sold famed insects, no one ever stole one from me..... It only cost me $9 to make but it still makes me mad. Has this happened to any of you?

My own fault I guess. I was at an art/flea market and I was demonstrating how to pin some butterflies and had about 5 kids with pinning boards with my back to my display. I never charge kids to learn. Sometimes parents buy a frame or a little kit so the kids can do it at home. The kids were really enjoying it and asking questions and I did not notice until the end of the day as I packed up. Too bad I don't believe in Karma.........

Some people will steal anything that is not nailed to the floor. I was once having a display of framed insects for kids , turned my back and half a dozen live spiny leaf insects were stolen off a potted tree on the table .A member of the public said hey those kids just stole your insects .After yelling at them to bring them back as they were only just absconding with them , they sheepishly came back appologised and put them back on the tree . You have to be quick . Had they asked I would gladly have given them a couple.

Scorpion update....
So a customer came up to me last week and told me about the scorpion they bought from me and how they liked it. I told them I did not remember them and they said "Oh we bought it from your daughter because you looked so busy..." My daughter admitted it when I asked and told me she needed the money. She knows I would have given to her. I was sure I taught her better than that.
