Luca Berton's last email to me on 2 January 2012:
"Mr. Laurie , I wish you a happy 2012, in order to send $ 200 in your account asks me for my bank bic swift code, otherwise I can invire via Western Union or Money Gram the amount due tomorrow. I await your news.
As I already wrote I was in Colombia where I collected many interesting butterflies, now I have many pupae of P. alexanor different ssp. I have other rare and endemic Papilio pupae (ex. P.h. of Sardinia), I hope to continue with her good friends.

On 9 January 2012 I sent Luca the informaton he needed and since January 2012 he does not reply to my emails. I have sent him many emails but he does not reply. He still owes me 200 euros... Luca is not reliable and does not keep his word.

I know him personally from the insectshows in Europe like many other european collectors and I always buy from him direct on the shows. Even that he knows me,he sometimes doesnt answer my emails for several month. I am used to this in the meantime and dont care because I know that I will see him again on one of the shows in Italy, France or Germany.
I think he spends always some month in Colombia..... but even there they have internet. Maybe it has a reason that he cant answer, I realy cant believe that he would cheat anybody.Anyhow, if I meet him on the show in Italy in september , I will talk with him about this

Thanks for your words Robert! It will be nice if one day Mr Berton will do the right thing and pay me the money he owes. It is interesting that he can at the moment offer specimens for sale on InsectNet but that he cannot send me an email or send me the money he owes me...
