Dear all, We have posted the video files of following two butterfly species which are endemic to Japan. - Japanese White-Letter Hairstreak ( Fixsenia mera) - Asama White Admiral ( Ladoga<Limenitis> glorifica) Both species have many similar species in Eurasia and North America. bsj-t.blogspot.jp/Cheers, mokky Attachments:

I always enjoy your videos. I can watch butterflies for hours. What camera do you use?

Dear papilio28570
Thank you for enjoying my videos.
I do not use any professional video camera but use the usual handy video camera (my favorite one is Sony HDR-CX270V, zoom is excellent!) you can buy at electric shops. Now HD disital video camera is making remarkable progress day by day.
Thanks to such development in tools and also advancement of Information Technology, I can show my videos to all the butterfly enthusiasts from all over the world. (though my English is quite poor!)
I hope I can enjoy the videos of various butterflies in the world easily at my room. But it seems to deprive me of the excitement in chasing butterflies in tropical jungles or alpine meadows. cheers, mokky

Yes, nothing is better than being in the field chasing an elusive butterfly. Hunting in new countries is always full of excitement.
Your English is quite good. Far better than my Japanese.
