Hello, everyone. Apologies for the photo being out of focus. I can take another if needed. This was taken in upstate new york by lake george. The locals call it a wire worm, but wikipedia says they only have 6 legs. These look like some species of centipede. They are about an inch long, and very numerous. Thanks for looking! Attachments:

Looks like a millipede to me. I'm not familiar with them, so not sure of an ID any further than that.
