Trichius costipennis this can be a large sp. among Oriental region's Trichiini, unlike neotropical sp. they are very large,in Asia,at least China it can be a good size sp. does anyone has the photo of Indian or Myanmar's Trichius costipennis specimen?it's said they are a bit different appearance. hi all
most of these little critters are identifable only by mean of their male genitalia - all i can tell is 1 - Indotrichius sp. 2 - maybe undescribed 3 & 4 may belong to the same taxon, but impossible to tell what genus on these pictures 5 tibiotrichisu for sure, but 2-3 species possible 6 - Indognorimus near costipennis 7. - never seen
for a better study, as saif, you have to give a picture of male genitalia cheers denis

Hi , 1 Indotrichius ,i didn't found photos by google search. 2 i have no any clues, 3 & 4 are smallest size among them, both are same(or very similar size) sorry thouse photos were taken during i was there once after they were collected and killed,so without a ruler putting aside to show the size.. 5 were collected from a same tree. maby the differences between male and female and one thing was sured, even for a same sp. their pattern on elytra differs. 6 OK 7 OK
genitalia OK,however i may need a teacher to learn how to take it out...not by instruction but to watch the whole process. Cheers, Hu
