Excellent videos as always. Very interesting about the seasonal migration of Parantica sita. How many years has the tag & release program been underway?

Dear papilio28570
In Japan "mark and release" survey started by those who are interested in this butterfly more than 30 years ago. But at that time, only a few people joined the survey every summer.
After several recapture of the marked butterflies, many people got interested in this butterfly.
Now every summer "mark and release" survey is conducted in many places.
Some people mark more than ten thousand butterflies (!) alone. mokky
