#1 is a female Anoxia (Mesanoxia). Looks very much like Anoxia (Mesanoxia) matutinalis.

Hi Thanks all again for the help I'm a little confused. I managed to post these accidentally in the favourite bugs forum and was given an ID of for No4 of Netocia morio morio (Fabricius, 1781). I have looked at both these species on google images and cannot see the differences. I am very inexperienced with beetles!! Which is it and how do I tell them apart? Regards Dave
