Hey Guys,
I know he "upset" a few people with some rather "single-minded" posts on the old forum but I was wondering what had happened to Thanos?
I never got into a debate with him so have no axe to grind. Equally, I never traded with him/did any deals or have contact off the board with him so it's not like he's a friend of mine. I did notice that someone "smited" him and he ended up with negative karma which I thought was a bit harsh as he didn't start any arguments on the new forums...maybe that's why he's not posting anything any more???
Just thought it was a bit quiet on here without him...and he DOES have some nice bugs! ;D

If you have an account to the old Forum you can try and contact him through his mailbox. Don't try and post anything however. It will not go up.

He already joined us, it was one of the first entering the new forum (among first 25 for sure), his new name is just thanos, and if he is not posting I guess it´s because he may be busy now. I´m sure we´ll know from him as soon as the season starts.

I have just seen these posts. maliciousinchworm : thank you friend,you covered me,yes I'm just too busy in this period,both with my work and collection.If someone tries to add a lot of hard to get and expensive insects to his collection,he has also to sell specimens for this.Money from work are not enough for expensive specimens.He has also to live,a lot of expenses for his collecting trips each season etc  .And if he also tries to offer to the other collectors on ebay a satisfactory service,reading entomological books/internet sites,classifying his collection,spreading specimens etc,then he is really too busy.He becomes even more busy,if he is in love and has a relationship with a worthy girl ;-). So,all the above make me not to have the time to post here so much and also - thank you all the rest for your 'interest' .. -but I will not downgrade anymore my level to answer to posts like these,so if some of you try to make me angry somehow,you're just loosing your time .Maybe if you will also find a beautiful girl..,you will spend more interest on her rather than on such distasteful posts about me . Also,I think you have,like me,a collection to take care of,to enrich,classify etc.Keep doing it,like me -I really don't need this type of 'interest' .Just be more respectful and good people at last..Most of you are quite old in age,but the behaviour/maturity of some of you does not go together with your age..I feel lucky to have found some knowledgeable and good collectors/scientists(but first of all good and honest persons) in the entomological community,with whom we help each other sharing useful info about our personal observations and on taxonomic matters on insects,exchange specimens,and have a nice contact . I have/will get soon a lot of rare specimens and I have already many to post in the section of 'show your favourite specimen' -also the new collecting season will start again soon here in Greece :)and I've already planned my new trips for great species-so,I'm gonna share with you(with those that will enjoy my specimens anyway) a lot of specimen photos,when I will have more time and the new specimens prepared.I'd also like to help on any taxonomic subject in the right section here,like I was doing much more frequently in the old forum,and I'll be trying to do this when the time allows me (the taxonomic section and the 'show your favourite specimen' one,are my favourites on this site). I recently had also some personal difficulties that fortunately are now over.People never think about it,if they don't have themselves a good problem in their lives to solve,unfortunately... And to some few friends that have managed to make exchanges,I remind publickly that I have not forgotten them,just am busy or need time to find some specimens with the new collecting season.
