Just read today that Greece wants compo from Germany because of the occupation in the 1940's.
We know Greece is skint and the austerity screws are being turned but this really smacks of desperation.
I remember in the early 80's when i visited Greece several times, the people seemed to be really laid back and happy,was joining the EU such a good idea?
