I think the second is Pieris extensa, male.
The first is a male Pieris.
And yes, the third one is a Satyrinae. Could you please post a photo of the underside of this specimen ? It is necessary especially for Satyrinae.

According me, the last one is not a Satyrinae but an Amathusiinae from the genus Faunis Hübner, 1819.
Would be interesting to get an underside view to tell more.
Would be interesting also to learn more about the geographical origin.
China : Mandchouria or Guangdong, palearctic or tropical ?

number 2 looks like : Artogeia ( Pieris) melete (MÉNÉTRIÈS, 1857), male. Could be also Pieris extensa if it has a yellow spot at the hindwing basis underside. Without underside vew, I presume this is P. melete. . Attachments:

Dear jensb
My identification is as follows;
1. Talbotia (Pieris) naganum cisseis Leech, 1890[/b] [male] 2. Pieris extensa Poujade, 1888[/b] [male] * I would like to know the size. If size is smaller, it should be Pieris melete orientis Oberthur, 1880[/b]
3. Faunis aerope (Leech, 1890)[/b] [male] * the subspecies name is uncertain because you did not mention the location where this specimen had been obtained
no.3 belongs to not Pieridae but Amathusiinae (Nymphalidae)
Cheers, mokky

Very much thnx everyone. It has a yellow spot underneeth and it is around 6,5 cm so I think it is a Pieris extensa. 1st could be Talbotia (Pieris) naganum cisseis but why has it 2 spots and the 3th in the other black? Is this some rare form? Should i make a picture from underneath.
