Yes, I'd say that moth did plenty of sunbathing or perhaps took a nap or 500 naps in a tanning bed. Seriously, your moth has been exposed to light for a longtime.

It is not my moth ;D But someone send me this foto. He knows I love Lepidoptera and found this one by a friend. Really thnx for the quick reaction.
