Has anyone else dealt with Anatoly Filippov in Ulan-Ude, Russia?

Some info for you. I can read Russian and I've checked the largest Russian entomology forum. I've found Anatoly Filippov was a registered participant at the Fourth International Entomology Meeting in Moscow, he helped the forum members with Carabidae identification. That's all I could find. At least he seems like a professional entomologist.

He sent me some Papilio machaon from Buryatia last year, nice specimens, good data. He was not very easy to communicate with, maybe he has problems with English.
Adam.

Thanks for the info, guys.
I sent him a moderately sized package for exchange, and haven't heard back from him since the end of July. He did mention he works in entomology and said a known carabid expert was his supervisor, so I'm guessing this is just a case of something happening that's keeping him from responding.

Update: I finally got my "package" from Anatoly, after much emailing him with no response. Generalized excuses about having issues, whatever. He said he sent it out in May, and I got a notice from the PO today, and pick up my... empty shipping envelope. He didn't remove the strip of film from the sealing flap: i.imgur.com/BRittGS.jpgThis guy is nothing but trouble. I'm out my package, and I don't want the same thing to happen to others.

That's nuts, but actually it might not be his fault at all, as in Russia I often hand over my packages to the Post workers, they the ones who close it up and place the declaration form to it, while I make sure they do it of course. It could be one of those assholes just didn't close the packet, maybe even on porpoise. Oh my, if you would see the kind of #### which happens at the Russian post you would never want to send a package to Russia (mostly in Ural and Siberia) ever again ahahah.
Check the weight of the package as it left the post office or as it left Russia, it might be written on the package by handwriting, ah, and never ship things to or from Russia without a tracking number.
