As far I know, - Parnassius apollo wiskotti OBERTHUR, 1913 - P. apollo sequanus RUTIMEYER, 1943 - P. apollo peyerimhoffi VIETTE, 1961 = Parnassius apollo nivatus FRUHSTORFER, 1906. As far I know, none Parnassinae were flying in the Alsacian low areas (Plaine d'Alsace), as written by the website you quote, at least since the last Ice Period. These P. apollo were flying in the Vosgian Mountains. On the Ballon d'Alsace (one the vosgian summits), P. apollo disappeared in 1976-1977 after a very hot and dry summer. Following J.-C. Weiss ( The Parnassiinae of the World, excellent book), we keep only 5 ssp. for P. apollo in France : - P. apollo nivatus FRUHSTORFER, 1906 : Vosges and Jura - P. apollo geminus STICHEL, 1899 : Alps - P. apollo provincialis KHEIL, 1905 : Southern Alps - P. apollo lioranus FRUHSTORFER, 1921 (= P. apollo lozerae PAGENSTECHER, 1909) : Central Mountains - P. apollo pyrenaicus HARCOURT-BATH, 1896 (Instead of 22 ssp. described). P. apollo peyerimhoffi was given for the Jura and P. a. meridionalis for the Vosges. The second is nowadays extinct and the first is included in P. apollo nivatus which is seriously endangered in the Jura mountains.
Auctions : n° 80 and 87. I asked to a friend who was there and use to write all the bids. I'll tell you soon.

"Could ask somebody to write down all extinct French apollo localities?" --> it would take far too long to list all localities unfortunately. Congrats for the auctions. I won one Delias auction there too, with some nice specimens from India from the 70ies. Very hard to find now !

Problem is France is bigger than Slovakia, it would be really very long.

Here are some recent data about P. apollo in the Jura Range (given by two french entomologists who use to prospect there each year) : Xavier : "Yes, Parnassius apollo still flies in the Jura, although is scarce, particularly in the north of the region (Jura) and west (North-East of Ain), it is still present in the summit, Switzerland (Jura Berne) and becomes scarce again in the Bugey". Luc : " P. apollo is still widespread in the Ain, eg Grand Colombier (there is abundant), probably on the Crêts de la Neige (but not seen the end of June 2009), but it probably disappeared from the Doubs and I do not know if it still flies in the classic spot : la Reculée de Baume-les-Messieurs (not seen the end of June 2008 and 2009, but never visited in July). I do not know for example if P. apollo flies still on the Dole (1600m) just on the Franco-Swiss border near Les Rousses." About Ferrette (the northern limit of P. apollo range, alsacian Jura), I read in several studies that the butterfly is extinct there since, at least, ten or twelve years. I can't find out the exact year of the disparition.

"Now I do not know the exact locality of those peyerimhoffi presented in a lot 80. Maybe it is Ferrette, maybe it is something different, I really do not know. When I get the colls I will let you know"
Many thanks, I'll be very interested !
I found nothing in the litterature (and on the web) about the peyerimhoffi range. Would be interesting to read the Viette's description :
Parnassius apollo peyerimhoffi Viette, 1961
Viette, P. 1961. Les Parnassius apollo (Linné) des Vosges et de l'Alsace. Bulletin de la société entomologique de France, 66(3/4): 113-121.
