So I was watching a show a few days ago on money and learned a little about the Bitcoins. This on line computer money apparently can be purchased or traded with real paper money of any country. Apparently there is an on line account some ware in the computer net work for your Bitcoins that you have a pass word for. Buy the way if you do get some bitoins do be care full not to forget your pass word to your account. The poor guy on the TV show lost his some 140, 000 bucks of on line currency because he forgot his password to his account. Now it is floating around in cyber space.
Apparently there are on line stores that except Bitcoins as real money. So you can buy or sell just about any thing with this digital money. There are no middle men such as the banks like with paper money. You are completely in charge of your own account. This sure sounds very nice. I might some day get some Bitcoins my self.

Always something new! What will they come up with next? Although this is interesting, I think I'll just stay with cash, at least for now.

Well it is cheaper than paypal ? Otherwise no interest.
I hope one day people create a discount "ebay". Their 15% fees (ebay+paypal) aez extortion !!! With a real competitor, they may decrease their fees.

Reason that Europe(except Germany) USA are in such trouble, are basically that most governments moved away from hard currency(gold, silver, copper coinage) At first, they had real money in circulation, gold, silver coins, with paper currency introduced in 1700s. This worked since most paper notes were redeemable in gold, silver. Then in the 1900s, govts moved away from the gold standard, thus leaders like President Obama can print US dollars, sinking the Country into ruin. With the advent of credit cards, lines of credit, this made sure that most people live under huge debt with vampire like interest rates. Like I said, hard currency worked well from 600BC too 1914. Example, Florence gold dukats had the same amt of gold weight as the Austrian-Hungarian Franz Josef 1914 dukat...so no inflation for 700 years!!!!! Then again, I would rather have beautifull gold coins, then plastic credits cards.

John, you may be true, but partly only. If Germany has a better situation than the rest of Eurozone, it's not thanks to their money as they share the same euro.
It's more because German State better spends their money and took some courageous decisions in the past. Also because German firms have great marketing knowledge and great ingeniors.
Problems of Europe and USA are our politicians that work more for their reelection than for the long-term health of our countries.
