Another. Check the species and the price ;D. Some bidders are highly ridiculous/unknowledgable..! And some others just increase the prices with their bidding..! They suck. www.ebay.com/itm/160877710364

Yeah, that is how the free market works. Somebody offers something and somebody buys it. Where is your problem with that?

This price is super exorbitant for a pair Boloria graeca. If they like to spend this amount for such (local but common) species, it's their right, but I wish them good luck.. ;D. And of course the ones who regularly just increase the prices of certain sellers' specimens (bidding until they reach the highest bid of the other bidder, but then not bidding again to win the item.. ) have surely problem and suck. And it's not difficult to find out who ebayers do this ill bidding if you check the bid histories and their feedback numbers.

I agree with Christof. I don't see any problem on the second auction. Starting price was low, the seller has been lucky 2 guys fought for it. nemesis < which seller are you talking about ? With 14% ebay taxes, I think such "auto-bidding" would be very risky. What I hate more is people having different usernames on ebay ... or on InsectNet...

I have a pair of Boloria graeca, £100 to my friends on insectnet, one time offer only so be quick. At those prices what would my piedmont anomalous Polyommatus humedasae and taygetos Polyommatus menelaos blues fetch.

Many, maybe more clever people or who have searched a bit more on ebay, would find this bidding highly suspicious, and that this certain bidder with the red star (personally know his ID) is doing this all the time (increasing slowly the price without winning) on specimens of 2-3 sellers. Probably he doesn't do this for the sellers, but cause he has a psychologic problem (e.g. hates the other bidder). And I didn't tell something bad about any seller, neither that the sellers bid on their own items. You told this. I commented only on this type of bidders (the ones who increase the prices, and the ones who bid ridiculous amounts on common stuff). I'm sure everyone gets what I'm writing, but the truth is always annoying. I think that you mostly hate yourself, wollastoni . nemesis < thank you for confirming my doubts about multi-usernames on this website.
