hey, i scoll through the topics alot and almost all i see is moths and butterflies, can you pleaze help me with this one, i heard a funny noise, saw this moth trying but unable to fly, when it sat on my hand it started laying eggs, a few days later the larve came out, the moths wingspan is 9cm (3, 5433071in), the larve is green with a thorn like thing on its butt, the head is freakishly large compared to the body, the egg itself looks like a tiny pea, the larve is about one inch long Attachments:

Thierry,
You left out the 'o' in Pseudoclanis. Are you sure that it is that genus/species? After all the original post didn't even say where in the world he is. I would expect it to be an American Sphingid purely on style of English. Just to start with, where I come from the use of "hey" is very rude as it's considered aggressive, but it's normal in America (see the "hey ***" at the top of each page in this forum, for example).
Adam.

I see, you already knew that 'zombieant' lives in South Africa. My apologies, it wasn't stated anywhere in the original question.
