Btw, Dynastinae is a subfamily of Scarabaeidae - I don't think it should be treated as a separate family.

I use this kind of classification :
Scarabaeoidea --> Dynastidae --> Cetoniidae ----> Cetoniinae ----> Trichiinae ----> Valginae ----> Geotrupidae ----> Scarabaeidae etc...
This is the taxonomic choice of Fauna Europaea too... Löbl & Smetana have made the choice of Scarabaeidae global family, with Dynastinae considerd as a subfamily...
I think that everyone can do as he wants... It is not very important...

Ok, but personally I find it a BS species with so similar morphological-anatomical characteristics to be separated in different families.
Then for Cerambycoidea use also: Prionidae, Lamiidae, Cerambycidae, etc.
