Does anyone know the name of this prioninae? It was collected in Peru, border to Ecuador. In my opinion, it looks like a mix between praemallaspis inca and praemallaspis xanthaspis. 1. The protonum is red. 2. The scutellum right below the protonum is yellow. 3. The antenna are blue. This one has the weirdest color combination I have ever seen. Thanks! Attachments:

It's Praemallaspis inca, Galileo and Martins, 1992. All that you had to do was google Praemallaspis, and the Neotropical Cerambycidae website will come up. Jeff Prill

The Mallaspini can be quite variable. Haven't you considered variation? Look for the paper by Galileo and Martins, 1992, maybe that will help you. The location is correct. Jeff Prill
