Wonderful. These Heliconiidae are so graceful at flight. Saw some in Mexico last year.

if these are hecalesia then these are some of the rarer ones.

Number 2 : Heliconius hecalesia ernestus Brown & Benson (Colombia) Number 3 : Heliconius hecalesia hecalesia Hewitson, female (Colombia) Number 1 probably (almost certain) : Heliconius hecale zuleika Hewitson (Panama). Using the Holzinger's book on Heliconius and related genera.
