Should they not be yellow (=red spots) in the Sierra Nevada ?? Or has just x % of the population yellow spots ?

I am no apollo expert so its not too hard to dupe me on these, they were very cheap though.

This was an auction, some of them are sold cheaper then others. And they were damaged

so does this apply just to Parnassius apollo and its many ssp or to all species of parnassius.

so does this apply just to Parnassius apollo and its many ssp or to all species of parnassius. As far as I know, other species of Parnassius don't need permits, unless they are protected by local laws, or perhaps some species are protected in the EU. Adam.

that´s new for me that Parnassius phoebus(now: sacerdos) is protected in the EU(FFH ,Berner Konvention). I offer them always on the shows and inspectors on the show in Frankfurt are very strict and have never complained about them
