We recently moved into a new house that has a massive wooded area behind it. We knew we'd more than likely have bug/spider issues as a result, but we have seen some creeeepy looking spiders lately. We have killed 5-6 of the brown recluse looking ones, but when we asked the landlord, he said that they are not brown recluses and are "brown wood spiders" and just looked like brown recluses. The other much larger spider we saw today in a window frame outside. We figure it's just a big "garden spider". As you can see, I don't know anything about spiders! images attached:

The first photo is a brown recluse. You can tell by the violin shape on its cephalothorax. Your landlord is trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Better have him call an exterminator before you get bit.

We showed him the picture and he barely glanced at it and immediately said it was a wolf spider. talking about the first image I posted. We know It's a brown recluse. I smell a conspiracy. How could I find a local Dallas entomologist
