One website where I moderated used life forms evolving up like paramecium up to whale shark. Maybe we could do the same.... or not - Wollastoni might get very angry if we went - egg, larva, .......Delia, Geometrid, Ithomid, Hesperid, .... Saturnid, Ornithoptera...

I'd insert Steve Irwin in there somewhere. Though he specialized in reptiles, he made biology popular with the "cool" kids.
