Number 1 looks like a more colourful version of Ceproa nerissa, but I'm no Pierid expert, and don't know the Cepora of Nias at all.

I found out there is a subspecies of C. nerissa in Nias, called niasicola. 1 is probably this, but I wouldn't like to be 100% confident, not being a Pierid collector.
Nias is part of a chain of islands lying off the west coast of the large island of Sumatra. Many of these islands have very different butterfly subspecies to those on Sumatra, and each island (or group of islands) have their own subspecies. These islands have been separated from Sumatra for a very long time, if they were ever actually connected to that island at all. Maybe someone who is more familiar with the ancient geography of the area can add some information here.
Adam.

Nias and other archipelagos, Siberut, Simelue, Batu, Sipora, Mentawai are not far from Sumatra on the geographical point of view. But, as said by Adam, these islands have been separated from Sumatra for a very long time and have a very specific fauna. Even the human realities on the ethnographic level are specific : inhabitants of these islands are very different from those of Sumatra. For example, it's in Mentawai that are found the famous "Flower men." See : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mentawai_peopleen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nias
