How do you differentiate between A.capensis and A.beringei???
They all look similar to me haha

in Namibia there is only capensis. there can be distinguished by some morphological characters (beringei occurs from Malawi to Ethiopia, capensis in RSA, Namibia and Angola. They can be very common (In Angola I caught myself more than 100 in some days collecting, including a male of 96 mm)

Thank you africanone! I noticed that the price of Anthracocentrus beringei dropped so much! I guess it's my turn to get a pair of A.beringei

I am sure many will come out next year ! there is a guy (or more) that found how to cach them and as it is not uncommon in the field .... something like rugicpes some years ago when it has been caught in hundreds in pakistan
