Can anyone tell me if this is a variant of Mechanitis menapis occasiva? There are similarities but I wanna know exactly what this is if possible. Was taken @ the NHM butterfly exhibit 10-08-2011 There were several of these and they were all the same. See? They're similar. What's going on here? Thanks for any and all input. Attachments:

Why "similar"? They are exactly the same except for a small orange spot in the forewing anal angle and I wouldn't give too much importance on that one. Also the BOA specimen is old and worn so obviously the colors aren't as bright.

Also the BOA specimen is old and worn so obviously the colors aren't as bright. So they're the same ssp. except for a slight difference in patterns? Cause the stripes on the hindwings are slightly different. This is cool. Thank you cause this had been bugging me for quite sometime.
