Hello everyone! Can anybody specify the maximum size of this subspecies – Lucanus angusticornis inclinatus (Schenk, 2008)? The depicted specimen was caught on July 2012 at Mt. Daxueshan, Menglian, Yunnan, China. Length – 67mm. Thank you in advance, Sergei Attachments:

In the book it just says 66mm but I have a feeling it can recachs the same as the other ssp 77mm.

Thank you. Yes, I know. H. Fujita in his book indicates the size 66.1 mm. And I also have a feeling that this is not the limit. But I would like to know for sure and have the facts.

Here is my 61mm. I think as more specimens are collected the maximum size will be extended as it is not a common sub-species... Attachments:

In fact,...this subspecies is very rare in China.I only know 1-3 Chinese have it.

I don't think its that rare, as two sellers have it on e-bay at the moment.
