Watching and photographing longhorn beetles on Dog Roses, this one noticed my presence and stopped feeding to have a look, not sure what I was, it flew off. A weird encounter for the longhorn beetle that is!!   |

I have a ID for this Longhorn. It is Stenocorus meridianus, a rather common woodland species which often takes nectar from flowers.
