TRAVELING TO IRELAND FOR THE FIRST TIME, ADVICE NEEDED

I have traveled to many countries in Europe to date, but have never visited Ireland. Would anyone have any advice to offer on places to visit, places to find great food, great pubs best times of year to visit and so forth. Any advice/recommendations will be appreciated. I will likely visit Ireland for ten days or so. Thank you.
